Abakaliki – July 12, 2025 — As part of his homecoming and participation in the Maiden Distinguished Alumni Lecture of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has announced a landmark donation to his alma mater: a multi-million-naira Leadership Pavilion set to enhance student learning and engagement.

The proposed structure, named the Dr. Chima Anyaso Leadership Pavilion, is projected to cost between ₦200 million and ₦250 million, with a completion timeline of 12 months.
“Today, we’re also going to give back to the institution that gave us so much,” Dr. Anyaso declared during his lecture. “So this is what we’re giving back to Ebonyi State University. It’s going to be called the Dr. Chima Anyaso Leadership Pavilion.”
A Space for Learning, Growth, and Connection
Envisioned as a modern, student-centered facility, the pavilion will serve as a hub for research, study, interaction, and relaxation.
“In this Pavilion, students will find a very decent place to refresh, research, study and interact,” he added, emphasizing the project’s focus on creating an enabling environment for holistic development.
A Gift of Gratitude and Vision
The announcement drew resounding applause from the university community, with many describing it as a timely intervention that will bridge academic pursuit and social learning.
Dr. Anyaso described the project as a personal expression of gratitude to the institution that helped shape his journey from a young undergraduate to a national figure in business and leadership.
“I am told that this project is going to cost us between ₦200 to ₦250 million, and we’re happy to complete this project within the next 12 months,” he assured.
