Abuja – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including the National Working Committee (NWC), APC Governors, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to form a committee for the development of a new party secretariat in the nation’s capital.

The President, in a decisive move to strengthen the party’s institutional structure, charged the committee to identify a suitable location and commence plans for the construction of a befitting APC National Headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking on the directive, a source quoted the President as saying: “We should put up a committee of the Progressive Governors’ Forum along with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and identify a befitting space to build a national party secretariat.”
The move is seen as part of efforts to reposition the party and provide a more dignified and functional base for the ruling party’s operations.
