One of the founding members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Professor Jerry Gana, has revealed that efforts are ongoing to bring back former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to the PDP.

When asked directly if the party had reached out to Obi, Gana affirmed, “Why not?”
He further stated that Obi was not the only individual being approached. “We are also moving to other persons. But I don’t want to announce until we really get there,” he said.
Highlighting renewed strength in the PDP, Gana added, “I have a very solid platform. I can now go back to these people and say the platform you were complaining about is now set, proper, and ready to move. I know many of them would respond.”
