Abuja – The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, has been conferred with the prestigious Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Honoris Causa by the University of Port Harcourt, Uniport.

The recognition was warmly celebrated by the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, who described the honour as a “well-deserved” tribute to Wike’s transformational leadership and contributions to national development.

In a congratulatory message, Governor Fubara stated:

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Rivers State, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Honourable Minister… This distinguished recognition is not only a celebration of your illustrious accomplishments but a testament to your enduring impact as a transformational leader, visionary statesman, and proud alumnus.”
