The North Central zone is leading the charge, with the APC Forum in the region committing to secure six million votes in appreciation of President Tinubu’s decision to return the party’s national chairmanship to the zone. The commitment came following the appointment of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, from Plateau State, as the new APC National Chairman.

Chairman of the North Central APC Forum, Saleh Zazzaga, assured that the zone would rally full support for Tinubu’s second term bid.

“President Bola Tinubu and the APC should have no concerns about North Central votes in 2027. The region is already in the bag. Our promise to deliver six million votes for the President is guaranteed,” he declared.

In the South-South, the Akwa Ibom APC chapter has set an ambitious target of 3.5 million votes — three times the number the President secured in the 2023 elections. According to the party’s spokesperson, this figure is expected to be achieved through an aggressive registration drive.

In Edo State, APC Publicity Secretary Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie announced that Governor Monday Okpebholo has committed to delivering 2.5 million votes for the President, citing a rapidly growing party membership base and mass defections from opposition parties.

“The other parties in the state are no longer in existence,” he asserted.

Benue State also reaffirmed its loyalty to Tinubu with a promise to recruit five million members and deliver two million votes in 2027.

According to APC spokesperson James Orngunga, “We will surpass our 2023 margin, which was narrowed by the Muslim-Muslim ticket controversy. The President’s support to our people has changed the narrative. He’ll win with a wide margin.”

In the South-West, the APC chapters in Oyo and Ekiti States pledged a combined 1.2 million votes for the President.

Oyo APC spokesperson Olawale Sadare stated that the party is targeting over 800,000 votes in 2027, double what was achieved in 2023.

“We are aggressively mobilising through door-to-door, media, and social platforms,” he said.

In Ekiti, where Tinubu garnered over 200,000 votes in the last election, APC spokesman Segun Dipe said the party aims to double or triple that figure.

“We’re confident of at least 400,000 votes for the President in 2027. His performance and Governor Oyebanji’s delivery are already speaking for us,” he added.

The growing wave of support across these APC chapters signals a strong early push by the ruling party ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
