Professor Muhammad Sani Bello, the Commissioner for Information in Kaduna State, has tendered his voluntary resignation from office, effective immediately.

In a formal resignation letter addressed to the Secretary to the State Government and dated July 29, 2025, Prof. Bello referenced his appointment via letter number GH/KD/S/171 dated July 27, 2023. He expressed his decision to step down as both Commissioner and Member of the Kaduna State Executive Council.
The resignation letter reads in part:
“I wish to notify you of my decision to voluntarily resign with immediate effect.”
“I wish to place on record, my profound gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity afforded me to serve in the capacities I did.”
No specific reasons were given for the sudden resignation.
Prof. Muhammad Sani Bello concluded his letter by extending his best regards and appreciation for the opportunity to serve.
