Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria – The Chima Anyaso Foundation is delighted to announce the inclusion of Nwazuo Precious Nmesomachi as the latest beneficiary of its esteemed scholarship program.

Nmesomachi, a visually impaired student from the Department of Social works, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Nigeria Nsukka, has been selected by the foundation to receive educational support.

 

Nwazuo Precious will join a cohort of 363 students and pupils currently supported by the Chima Anyasọ Foundation, bringing the total number of scholars under their care to 364.

 

At the official handover of her scholarship letter and first cheque, Nmesomachi was welcomed into the Chima Anyaso Foundation family by the Board of Trustees Chairman, Ezeogo Emeka Onuoha (Olakuru Ome) along with Sir Patrick Irokansi, Pastor Ikechukwu Dike (Eriwe Echeta), Mrs Arisa Okparigbo along with a host of other members and officials. 

 

To date, the foundation has successfully graduated over 5000 students and pupils.

 

A part of the letter presented to Nmesomachi read, 

“Dear Miss Nwazuo,

 

RE: AWARD OF FULL SCHOLARSHIP

 

We are pleased to inform you that after careful review and deliberation, the Scholarship Board of the Chima Anyaso Foundation has considered your request for financial assistance and has unanimously decided to award you a full scholarship to support your academic pursuit at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

 

This scholarship covers your tuition, accommodation, faculty and departmental fees, as well as a stipend for upkeep, and it will remain in effect for the entire duration of your undergraduate studies, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

 

This award reiterates our belief that with education, even those living with physical impairments can attain their full potentials. The Foundation is proud to support bright minds like yours, and we believe that this opportunity will serve as a springboard for your success and a source of inspiration to others in our community”.

 

Furthermore, during her induction into the foundation, she was advised to be a good ambassador of the foundation and the entire society.
