Abuja — The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFiB) has announced a one-week extension to the ongoing recruitment exercise into the paramilitary services.

According to a press release signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) A. M. Jibril, the recruitment portal, which was originally scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.
The extension, the Board explained, aims to provide additional opportunities for interested applicants seeking to join any of the paramilitary services under its purview.
CDCFiB also reminded applicants that the official and authentic recruitment portal remains https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng and cautioned the public to beware of fraudulent platforms.
The Board emphasized that the recruitment process is completely free of charge and reiterated its commitment to a fair and transparent selection process.
