Abakaliki – The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has lifted the suspension of 81 government Appointees.

This was disclosed in a public announcement issued on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor.
According to the statement, the affected officials, including commissioners, senior special assistants, special assistants, and permanent secretaries, who were suspended on July 28, 2025, have been directed to resume official duties immediately.
The Governor’s decision is seen as part of ongoing efforts to reposition the administrative machinery of thestate.
