Umuahia — The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, today handed over six refurbished patrol vehicles to key units and divisions within the command.

The refurbished vehicles were distributed to the following formations:
1. State Traffic Office, Umuahia
2. Scorpion Squad, Aba
3. Mbala Divisional Headquarters
4. Nkporo Divisional Headquarters
5. Umuoba Divisional Headquarters
6. The newly established Abia State Police Band
Speaking during the brief handover ceremony, CP Danladi Isa commended the Abia State Government for its continued support, noting that the refurbishment was made possible through its intervention.
He urged the benefiting officers to deploy the vehicles strictly for crime prevention and effective policing, emphasizing that the patrol units must rise to the occasion in ensuring the safety of lives and property across the state.
“The security and safety of Abians remain our top priority. These vehicles are vital tools that must be used judiciously to combat crime and respond swiftly to incidents across the state,” CP Danladi stated.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Abia State Police Command to improve mobility, visibility, and public confidence in the force.
