In a letter dated July 29, 2025, and officially received by INEC in early August, the party leadership highlighted key decisions reached during the NEC meeting held on the same day. Among the resolutions was the invocation of Article 19(12)(vii) and Article 19(14) of the ADC Constitution (2022), which empowers the NEC to assume the roles and responsibilities of the National Convention until the next convention is convened.

The submission was signed by the ADC National Chairman, Ralphs Okey Nwosu, and the National Secretary, Alhaji Sa’d Baba Abdullahi, who emphasized the party’s ongoing dedication to good governance and regulatory compliance.

> “This submission reflects our continued commitment to transparency, good governance, and adherence to regulatory standards,” the letter stated.

The ADC also extended a “fraternal warm handshake” to the commission in keeping with its tradition of formal engagement.

The party’s NEC currently comprises a broad leadership structure including:

HE David A. B. Mark – National Chairman

Senator Patricia Akwashiki – Deputy National Chairman

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola – National Secretary

HE Tunde Ogbeha, Sen. Musa Elayo, Dr. Mani Ibrahim, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, Barr. Solomon Dalung, Senator Sadiq Yaradua, Babachir David Lawal, and dozens of others occupying critical positions.

The ADC, whose mantra includes “ADC! Arise & Shine Nigeria,” has continued to project itself as a people-oriented party, promoting inclusivity and progressive democracy across the federation and diaspora.
