There are strong indications that the member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly Hon Lucky Johnson is set to join the Ruling Labour Party in Abia State.
Hon Lucky who was elected into the Abia State House of Assembly under the platform of the PDP have concluded all necessary discussion with the ruling Labour Party ahead of his defection, a move which started around September 2023.
According to our source close to him all arrangements have been concluded with the leadership of the party in the state and his local Government.
Hon Lucky has been on the fence since the leadership crisis rocking the Abia state House of Assembly, he has been accused of being in bed with the Labour party leadership of the 8th Abia State House of Assembly.
In a swift response the Campaign Director General Lucky Johnson campaign Organization Chief Eric Ikwuagwu said he is not aware of any move.
The Labour Party continues its shopping spray in the Abia State house of Assembly, it is predicted that the party will assume of position as the majority in the state Assembly before the end of May 2024.
