The venue was at St. Michael’s and All Angle’s Anglican Church, Ahiaba Okpula in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia, today the 07/07/2024, as the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Diocese of Isiala Ngwa North held their 2024 Diocesan women’s Guild Conference thanksgiving service.
Speaking on the theme “if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the fruit of the Land”, His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Temple O. Nwaogu admonished Christian faithfuls to see God first in all their dealings and seek the salvation of God which will in turn bring the fruit of the Land.
He proclaimed that the mercies of God is ever sure, and his faithfulness endureth forever to the body of Christ.
In his Speech, the Chairman of the Occasion and the immediate past Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Rt. Hon. Christopher Ogbonnaya Enweremadu urged the Diocesan women in the Anglican Communion to remain ever faithful, Committed but above all, see holiness and righteousness as a gateway to eat the fruit of the Land.
He pledged his continued support to the body of Christ and then pleaded with the women to see the conference as another platform to re unite Peace in their various home’s and also to the body of Christ.
Top dignitaries graced the occasion with the Presence of HRM Eze M. O Enweremadu, the Ezeukwu 2 of Ngwa Ukwu ancient kingdom, and the Member Representing the good people of Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Collins Ugochukwu Iheonunakwu.
The occasion also withnessed the Cutting of Unity Cake and the Conferment of awards to some Special dignitaries.
