The Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) has released the official list of candidates set to contest in the upcoming Local Government elections on November 2, 2024. According to information obtained by *Naijadailyng247*, among those cleared to participate is Comrade Ugwumba Adiele of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who will be running for the chairmanship of Ukwa East. The list also includes Hon. Chinedu Ekeke, a former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, who is contesting the chairmanship of Isuikwuato Local Government Area under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
