Former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Cosmos Ndukwe, has fired back at Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, former Deputy Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), describing him as politically irrelevant in his own constituency.
In an ongoing social media exchange between the two prominent sons of Bende Local Government Area, tensions flared after Dr. Anyaso declared support for the re-election of Governor Alex Otti in 2023 and claimed that no son of Bende is in the race for the 2027 governorship election.
Ndukwe, in a sharp response, dismissed Anyaso’s political weight, saying, “He cannot even win his booth, talkless of his ward — why join issues with a lad?”
The online spat continues to draw reactions from political observers and followers across Abia State.
