Benin City, July 5, 2025 – The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in the South-South region have commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), H.E. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON, for his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The commendation came during the APC South-South Stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday in Benin City, the Edo State capital. In a communique issued at the end of the meeting, the stakeholders described Wike as a “proud son of the South-South Region” whose loyalty and contributions to the success of the Tinubu administration have not gone unnoticed.
“We commend all the elected APC Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, Ministers, Heads of MDAs and political appointees from the South-South for their loyalty to the Party,” the communiqué read. “In particular, we recognise and commend the FCT Minister, H.E. Nyesom Wike, for his continued support for Mr. President and the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Present at the meeting were key party figures including Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, and the Governors of Edo, Delta, and Cross River States. The gathering served as a platform for reaffirming unity, loyalty, and alignment with the national leadership of the APC as the 2027 elections approach.
