Omisore, speaking on Channels Television’s flagship program Politics Today, confirmed the governor’s moves to join the All Progressives Congress in the state.
Describing Governor Adeleke as a “political orphan,” Omisore claimed the governor is “struggling and begging” to be accepted into the APC, which he said has become a shadow of itself in Osun State.
He further recalled that several stakeholders had already joined the APC, stressing that Adeleke only won the election due to internal grievances within the party.
“Aregbesola left the APC to work for him. Today, Aregbesola has moved to the ADC, taking his supporters along,” Omisore stated.
He also alleged that neither the national chairman of the APC, the state chairman, nor key stakeholders were aware of Adeleke’s defection plans.
“His defection is being discussed somewhere we don’t know,” he added.
