….Dedicates Award to Governor Eno
The Rotary Club of Uyo Shelter Afrique has honored Idara Adiakpan, Special Assistant and Chief Photographer to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, with an Award of Excellence in recognition of her creative mastery, humanitarian services, and contributions to community development.

Receiving the award, Adiakpan expressed her gratitude to the Club, describing the honor as an encouragement to continue her modest efforts in uplifting lives through service. Although not yet a member of the Rotary Club, she pledged her continued commitment to the ideals of Rotary, particularly its core value of “Service Above Self.”
“I am honored and deeply encouraged that my little efforts have been recognized. I dedicate this award to my boss and principal, His Excellency Governor Umo Eno, whose passion for compassion and service continues to inspire me daily,” she said.
She also extended appreciation to God, her family, and members of the growing “Dara tribe” for their constant support and sense of belonging.
The event also witnessed the installation of Rtn. Patricia Essien-Obot, PHF, as the new President of the Rotary Club of Uyo Shelter Afrique. Adiakpan congratulated the new President and commended the Club for its role in promoting humanitarian service and leadership in the state.
