Major stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have resolved to put aside their differences and work together towards the rebirth of a stronger, more united party in the state.

The high-level reconciliation meeting was chaired by the Governor of Yobe State and former APC National Caretaker Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN. He was joined by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters, Hon. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari.

Also in attendance were prominent political figures including the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara; Senator Umar Shehu Buba; former Governors Isa Yuguda and Mohammed Abubakar; as well as the Minister of Health, Prof. Ali Pate. Two former deputy governors and several other APC stalwarts from Bauchi State also participated in the peace-building meeting.

During the gathering, the stakeholders warmly embraced one another, expressing joy and commitment to healing internal rifts. They reached a clear and collective understanding to work together for the unity and progress of the party in the state.

The meeting is seen as a major step towards repositioning the APC for future political engagements in Bauchi State.
