Former Governor of Imo state and former Deputy speaker House of Representatives Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha have resigned his membership of the PDP.
In a letter addressed to the ward chairman of the Party in mbutu ward and made available to Naijadailyng247, he stated that the party has taken on a path that is at variance with his personal beliefs. Despite his attempt to offer counsel, the party is, sadly no longer able to carry out internal reforms, enforce its own rules or offer credible opposition to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Ihedioha is a founding member of the People’s Democratic Party.
