The People’s Democratic Party PDP in ovumgwu ward 8 in Isiala Ngwa South LGA of Abia State have suspended the former Executive chairman of the council Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku ove anti party activities.

 

In a communique signed by leaders and stakeholders of the party in ward 8, Chief Isikaku and others were accused of anti party activities and negligence of duty.

The release reads:

PDP POWER TO THE PEOPLE! PDP POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!

We the leaders and stakeholders of ovungwu ward 8 in Isiala Ngwa South today been Tuesday 27-05- 2024 unanimously Pass a vote of no confidence on the following leaders and exam Excos of ovungwu ward 8 Isiala Ngwa south local government for anti party activities and negligence of duties which is a violation of PDP constitution and they should henceforth, desist in parading themselves as leaders and executives of ovungwu ward 8 as well stop calling illegal meetings are they are no longer part of PDP members in the ward.
