Former Executive Chairman Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Hon Ifeanyi Isikaku, HON. CHINATU NWOSU OVUNGWU, WARD 8 PDP Chairman and 6 others have approached an Abia state High court sitting in omoba the Local Headquarters of Isiala Ngwa south to challenge their suspension from the People’s Democratic Party, in a suit filled against Hon Chimereze Nwankwo, PDP and Five others.
The petitioners prayed for the court to issue an ORDER of interlocutory injunction restraining the defendants by themselves, servants, agents from parading themselves as Executive Committee members of Ovungwu, Ward 8 of the Peoples Democratic Party Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area or summoning meetings or enforcing a purported suspension against the applicants or denying the applicants’ participation in the Ward Congress scheduled to hold on 2/6/24 or any other date as Leader and Members of the Executive Committee, registered and card-carrying members of the Peoples Democratic Party of Ovungwu, Ward 8 of Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area pending the determination of this suit.
