The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, on receiving the 2024 Dr. Michael Okpara Leadership Award, the Premier’s Prize.
In a release from the Abia State Chapter of the PDP, signed by Elder Abraham Amah, Head, Abia PDP Media Team, the party stressed that the recognition is a testament to Dr. Ikpeazu’s exemplary service and leadership during his tenure as Governor. His commitment to the development and progress of Abia State has not gone unnoticed, and this award reflects the enduring impact of his contributions to society.
“The Abia PDP extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on being honored with the prestigious Michael Okpara Leadership Award, the Premier’s Prize,” the statement read. “This recognition is a testament to Dr. Ikpeazu’s exemplary service and leadership during his tenure as Governor. The party commended Mr. Enyinnaya Appolos for representing Dr. Ikpeazu at the distinguished ceremony in Abuja and appreciated the acknowledgment of Dr. Michael Okpara’s legacy, which inspires excellent leadership and community service.
