The Ngwa Rangers have expressed their profound appreciation to President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for his continuous efforts in transforming Nigeria and supporting Abia State, especially the Ngwa Nation. In a statement signed by the group’s Publicity Secretary, Kingsley Ihesiaba, the Rangers praised the administration’s numerous initiatives, which they say have directly benefited their people.
Among the key initiatives highlighted were the provision of presidential grants, the ongoing youth investment fund applications, and the donation of ₦2 billion for the procurement of CNG buses. The group also recognized the relief materials distributed to civil servants in the state and the appointment of Ngwa individuals into strategic positions within the federal government.
The statement also acknowledged President Tinubu’s focus on infrastructure, citing ongoing works on the Osisioma-Ugwunagbor axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, the NPC Depot road in Osisioma Local Government, and the rehabilitation of Obohia Road as commendable strides towards the development of Abia State.
However, the Ngwa Rangers appealed for the establishment of a CNG conversion center in Aba, the industrial hub of the Southeast, to further enhance the state’s economic growth. They noted that this would align with the federal government’s vision of sustainable development and help boost the local economy.
The group further commended President Tinubu’s dedication to alleviating the effects of the fuel subsidy removal and his focus on fostering economic growth and poverty reduction nationwide.
Calling for patience among Nigerians, the Ngwa Rangers assured citizens that the President’s bold reforms, while challenging in the short term, are intended to bring lasting benefits to all.
The group concluded by reiterating their gratitude and pledging continued cooperation for the advancement of Ngwa Land, Abia State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Signed:
Kingsley Ihesiaba
