Deputy speaker of the federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu today paid a visit to the member Representing Ukwa East and West federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Chris Nkwonta.
Nkwonta last weeke defected from the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress.
The Deputy Speaker in a tweet on his official handle congratulated Hon Nkwonta for joining the ruling All Progressive Congress.
The Deputy Speaker tweeted:
I spent a beautiful afternoon with Hon. Chris Nkwonta, member representing Ukwa East and West and Chairman, House Committee on South East Development Commission, at his residence. Our discussions focused on charting a progressive path forward for our people.
