The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, has ordered the immediate and indefinite suspension of Mr. Mkor Aondona, his Special Adviser on Documentation, Research, and Planning. This follows Aondona’s arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of sextortion, cyberbullying, and blackmail.
Governor Alia emphasized that the action reflects his administration’s firm stance on integrity, accountability, and discipline in public service. He warned that any official found guilty of criminal or unethical conduct would face the full weight of the law.
