Prospective applicants seeking employment in Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies — including the Fire Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) — are advised to take note of key guidelines before submitting their applications.
According to official recruitment information, candidates are only allowed to apply to one of the four services. Submitting applications to more than one agency will lead to immediate disqualification. For instance, anyone who applies to the Immigration Service must not apply to the Fire Service, Correctional Service, or Civil Defence.
In addition to this, the following eligibility requirements have been outlined:
- Age Limit: Applicants must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Minimum Height: Male applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall, while female applicants must be no shorter than 1.60 meters.
- Chest Measurement: Male candidates must have a minimum chest measurement of 0.87 meters.
- Character Requirement: Individuals who have been involved in any form of financial embarrassment are not eligible to apply.
Applicants are urged to carefully review these criteria and adhere strictly to them to avoid disqualification. Click here to Apply
