We have been inundated with calls from well meaning Abians over the reports in some online media that Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, the 2023 Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) was invited by the Abia Judicial Panel of Enquiry.
In the interest of these well meaning Abians and friends across the globe, we wish to state in clear terms that at no time did the Abia Panel of Enquiry invite Engr. Nwafor for any reason whatsoever.
Those who are promoting these reports are either merchants of irresponsible journalism or custodians of malice. We advise these 5th Columnists to stop forthwith or we will activate the machinery of the law against these miscreants.
For the avoidance of doubt, we will reiterate that Engr. Nwafor is a comprehensively independent private person who has never been in government employment at any time whatsoever, law abiding and a responsibile Nigerian.
We want to state with pride that should the Panel in Abia deem it necessary to invite Engr. Nwafor for any reason, we vouch that the YPP Governorship Candidate will gladly honor the invitation in his character of respect for rule of law and constituted authorities.
We implore all right thinking persons to ignore the antics of busy bodies and those who are proponents of confusion.
