Hon. Chris Nkwonta, the Member representing Ukwa East and West Federal Constituency, has been appointed as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the South East Development Commission.
The appointment was announced by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. T.J. Abbas, shortly after confirming Nkwonta’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Nnaji Paul Sunday was also named as the Deputy Chairman of the committee.
