During the meeting, H.E. Sen. Akume congratulated the newly appointed leadership of the Commission and reaffirmed the Federal Governmentโs commitment to accelerating development across the South-South region. He urged the team to execute their mandate with diligence, innovation, and integrity, emphasizing that their appointment reflects President Bola Ahmed Tinubuโs confidence in their capacity to transform the region.
The visit also featured the formal presentation of appointment letters to the Commissionโs leadership team, marking the official commencement of their duties.
With renewed energy and support from the highest levels of government, the South-South Development Commission is set to usher in a new era of sustainable growth and regional prosperity.
