Just In: IGP withdraws all Police men attached to former Governor Bello

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun has withdrawn the police officers who were assigned to Yahaya Bello.

All police assigned to the former Kogi State Governor have been recalled.

This is coming after he evaded arrest on Wednesday 17th day of April 2024, after all efforts made by the men of the Economic and Financial crimes commission Efcc to take him into custody proved abortive, he was moved out of his residence by the Current Governor of Kogi State Usman Ododo to an unknown location.

Yesterday the economic and financial crimes Commission efccc declared him wanted, Nigerian Government through the Nigerian immigration service placed him on watchlist.

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 Billion.
