Governor Dr. Alex Otti has forwarded a list of new Absiec Chairman and commissioner nominees to the Abia State House of Assembly for screening. The Assembly has scheduled the screening session for Wednesday.
In an official release signed by Assembly Clerk Sir Johnpedro Irokansi, the following individuals have been nominated:
– Mr. David Kalu
– Ubochi Goodluck Chinedu
– Dr. Mrs. Queen Ijeoma Aghukwa
– Uwaoma Ukandu
– Kingsley Chibueze Nwokocha
– Professor Ogbonnaya Uche
The screening will commence at 10:00 AM at the Assembly complex. Nominees are required to submit 35 copies of their resumes along with a three-year tax clearance certificate to the Clerk’s office by Wednesday to complete the necessary legislative procedures.
The According to our sources Prof Ogbonnaya Uche will serve as Chairman Abia State Independent Electoral Commission while others will serve as Commissioners.
