The Federal Government has announced the donation of 20 trucks of rice to be distributed across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This initiative aims to support the most vulnerable individuals in Nigeria.
The announcement was made by Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during a press briefing following the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday. Minister Idris emphasized that the rice distribution underscores the Tinubu administration’s commitment to ensuring food security for all Nigerians.
“The government is dedicated to ensuring that all Nigerians have access to food,” Idris stated, highlighting the administration’s ongoing efforts to address hunger and support the nation’s most vulnerable populations.
